Visit to Pomega under the Voltage Vocational Excellence Center (CoVE) Project
As part of the Voltage Vocational Excellence Center (CoVE) Project, Coşkunöz Education Foundation and Coşkunöz Kalıp Makina visited Pomega Energy Storage Technologies Inc., a company operating in the battery sector, to evaluate developments in the industry and strengthen collaborations. The visit took place at Pomega’s facility located in Polatlı, Ankara, which is Turkey’s first private-sector lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing plant.
During the visit, detailed information was shared with Pomega representatives about the activities carried out במסגרת the Voltage Project. The parties exchanged ideas on potential collaboration opportunities aimed at increasing awareness and attractiveness of the sector, such as train-the-trainer programs and site visits for teachers and students. In addition, comprehensive insights into battery production processes were provided by Pomega representatives, and a factory tour was conducted.
